Taher is a litigator who practices in commercial and civil litigation. He regularly represents clients in a variety of contractual disputes, including real estate litigation, shareholder and partnership disputes, commercial tenancies, employment, construction, debt recovery, professional negligence and disciplinary hearings. Taher also has experience in insurance litigation and personal injury.
Taher is a passionate advocate who zealously advances his clients interests. Taking a practical and cost effective approach, Taher is always ready to give his clients the best representation in a court of law. Taher regularly attends the Superior Court of Justice and has represented clients in various tribunals and all levels of Court in Ontario. Taher has obtained favourable decisions for his clients at the Superior Court, including at trial and at the Ontario Court of Appeal.
Taher was called to the bar in 2014, and obtained his Juris Doctor from Queen’s University. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Philosophy from York University. Taher is a member of the Advocates Society, the Canadian Muslim Lawyer’s Association and the Ontario Bar Association. Outside of the office, Taher enjoys spending time with his family and friends, and cheering for his beloved Raptors.
