Neelam Farooq joined OWS law as an associate lawyer in 2022. She was called to the bar in 2019 after finishing her Internationally Trained Lawyer’s Program at the University of Toronto. Her legal journey began with an internship at the Ministry of Attorney General in the Constitutional Law department. She then advanced her career as an associate at a boutique law firm in Toronto, where she refined her expertise in family law and also gained significant experience in real estate transactions. In 2022, Neelam joined OWS Law as a family law associate, leveraging her diverse background to provide comprehensive legal support to clients facing family matters.
Neelam has experience in all areas of family law, including separation agreements, property division, decision-making responsibilities, access arrangements, parenting plan, spousal support, and child support. Her extensive knowledge and practical approach enable her to provide strategic guidance to families navigating the challenging situations of separation and divorce. Her compassionate yet assertive approach ensures that her clients’ interests are protected while promoting constructive dialogue and sustainable agreements.
